This is the image for the news article titled Outdoor Ed Each year, our Grade 6 students participate in an Outdoor Education program out at Whispering Pines Camp located by Elkwater.  It is consistently something that the students look forward to and remember for years to come.  Although we ask students to pay a small fee for the trip, we also rely on fundraising to help us pay for the cost of busing, accommodations, special events and food over the two-day event.  Some of those special events are rock climbing, RC racing, and archery.

To help us earn money for our trip, we are doing a variation on a bottle drive.  We are asking for bottle donation either by contacting the school so the students can arrange pick up or if it would be more convenient for you to take the bottles in, we have set up an account at Redi Bottle Depot (1040 South Railway ST. SE) where you can have your bottle proceeds put onto the George Davison Outdoor Education #80 account.

We really appreciate your assistance.  If you do not typically go through many bottles/cans, then monetary donations are acceptable also.  Thanks for helping to make this a successful year for our class. We could not do this without the generous support of our George Davison friends and family!

If you have any questions, please email one of the grade 6 Teachers Mrs. Thorne or Ms Oliphant:
