Our Grade 4-6 students are working on Legacy leadership skills through volunteer roles within the school. This helps to promote a sense of intrisnic worth and confidence. Some leadership examples include:
GRADE 4
Green team, milk monitor, broadcosters, special food
GRADE 5
Safety patrol, class monitoring, broadcasters
GRADE 6
Legacy assembly leadership, safety patrol, office support, broadcasting
SAFETY PATROLLERS
This program is offered to students in Grades 5 and 6. Compliments should go to the A.M.A. patrols who each day help students and their families to cross the streets. Many times this means being out in the cold, rain or other undesirable conditions. Please remind your child to obey the students patrollers. Also, if you call for a student in an automobile, watch the patroller for signals as to the safe time to proceed. We would ask parents to respect the crosswalk, as well as "No Parking" and "Bus Loading" zones.
