Your school nurse is available for:
- Providing information and follow up of communicable diseases/ outbreak management
- Ensuring immunization is up to date for each student grades 1-9 (school program focus Gr. 6 and 9)
- Partnering with the school to plan health initiatives
- Collaborating with staff concerning health issues
- Facilitate referrals to other Community agencies
- Facilitate in-service/health education for school staff
- Assist in obtaining health resources for lesson planning
